Have to question his ability though but as its a Harley enuf said Personally I am liking the tattoo arm protection works a treat and perfect for summer ...thats why the tough guys in the USA dont need other stronger types of body armour i suppose! It's an '07. I sold it when the euro/sterling exchange rate was going bonkers in about May '09 and I did quite well too. It's in Germany now. Lovely bike, did plenty of miles on it and enjoyed them all. As long as you realise that you're not going anywhere fast and try not to regard yourself as a Sonny Barger type then Harleys are great. And don't take them too seriously. I guess it's all down to how you perceive yourself, whether you're a fiftysomething who wants to be Peter Fonda, a fortysomething who wants to be Ewan or Charlie or a thirtysomething who wants to be Guy Martin. The reason I did'nt bother with the old Ducatisti Forum was the ceaseless shite about GoldWings/BMW's/Harleys from people who seemed to think they were uber-cool 'cos they had a Ducati. It probably would'nt occur to them that the grey-haired old fart putting petrol into a shiny RT12 has been riding two wheels all over the world for many, many years. C'est la vie.
fair dues to him for styling it out with the casual walk at the end...serves him right for driving, yes driving, a hardly ableson. as matt said, its always nice to see someone pushing the limits, even if its immediately following by pushing the remnants off the road and even if those limits are at 20mph on a gentle sweeping curve.. the bloke was a nugget....the funniest part was when his leg went under the picnic hamper...sadly his foot was still attached when he walked away pulling his kecks up.
