Stunning looking bike, covered in plastic. It is just a lovely piece of engineering. Jez Ducati build a cracking bike.
is this a 125? it reminds me of the 1199SL. Its a bit like the RSV125 to the RSV4 . Sorry, not trolling, just my opinion. The 1199SL is so much prettier. I would have the carbon parts for mine though
I can't imagine the future post of : 'SL2 - How to convert to the 959 euro 4 exhaust' Still, on the off chance any of you well off fellas want to swap out the Sl2 exhaust, I'm your man
I appreciate the engineering involved with the chassis and swingarm etc, but I much prefer the first Superleggera for looks, originality and the parts used. The Carbon swing arm and frame might be a bit fragile for every day road use. I think the first SL will stand the test of time. I don't mind paying high prices for motorbikes, but this is pushing it..
In stead of the leathers etc I'd rather have the £5k off the price of the bike (not that I could afford it anyway) and stick with my midge infested RST's.
I like it. I'm not a fan of matt paint, though. It looks likes someone has been at it with too much T-Cut. It'll be a lovely bike to own, ride and admire.
