My last place wood post and speakers.... Made a few quid on that place (lost most of it on via tax paid on my other income that should have been better managed) and moved here. Now have a garage more off road parking, more space to work from home and not on a main road. I miss the last two places.. Swings and roundabouts, I've had a few places I've renovated and loved. The one before the last, was a total transformation but looked original on the outside.. This place won't be one of my favorites. It is the most practical but has the least character but was the most expensive.. Have been busy putting previous owners problems right since I've moved here. Only just making slow progress with this place, my intended plans but will stay at this one for a while. Fed of moving and being surrounded by work, it's a side line not my main source of income.. Swings and round abouts. Have to get my speakers connected up here again soon, they are too loud when cranked up but much better range of sound.
I was going to go north to see my mum but I didn't as I didn't feel well enough. So SWMBO decided we should spend quality time together and go shopping instead.
Wellthe bad news is I'm still in Hossie (be 2 weeks this Monday) and not letting me go till midweek at earliest? Good news MRI/Ultrasound didn't detect any further infection around wound and a lovely lady with a great Barbadian twang just turned up with her magic weighing wheelchair and I've piled on 7Kg in just under 2 weeks! Prob all the shite I've been scoffing that friends have bought in for me and the zero exercise?
Collected my new timepiece, including an omega branded bottle of bollinger supplied by the boutique, a nice touch and a fantastic addition to my collection.
Ish. General plan is straight perforated tubes from the inlet to outlet using original in/outlets. Then packed and top welding back on. I want to keep the original outer piping so it looks the same and all the cuts/welds will be hidden. Cutting where I have means 2 of the 3 brackets remain as before so should be strong. If it goes belly up no loss as this can is a spare with a broken number plate bolt so not lost much. 1st time I've ever used an angle grinder so it's good practice.
