900ss Parts Book

  1. Hello, I just got myself a 1995 900SS mongrel (it has a Monster engine), from up in Dingwall, which was cheap, £1250, but not cheap enough after thinking about it now.

It's going to need a bit of work and was wondering if anybody has a parts book or knows where I can buy and/or download a copy?

  2. I have one on pdf I could email to you? It will get a LOT of use... :upyeah:

    Pm me your email

  3. Don't go berserk ordering parts from dealers yet, though.......there are always bits and pieces cropping up here and usually someone will probably have what you need tucked away.......most of us have the mindset 'What if' and collect anything that's going....

For reasonably priced new OEM stuff (if it's available) I find Moto Rapido to be the best......

But in the end I guess it will be down to what you need and what you are missing.

  4. Thanks, I'll go and check my mail.

  5. Yeah, I've still got to have a good look over it. Cheers

  6. What work needs doing?

Let me know if you get it, its quite a big file...

  7. The things I've spotted so far are an M12 course bolt chain adjuster at one side, could live with that, the rear shock could be leaking maybe and fork seals. It has what look like sl pipes and no pillion pegs, looks good but will possibly stick some high pegs on there.
Doesn't sound too bad really. Ha it sounds great of course, what I meant was not really much so far critically wrong with it, nothing that will stop me getting it on the road.
I'd like to check the cambelts at the very least, maybe just change them for piece of mind and do a compression check on the cylinders.
    Many thanks.
I'll check my mail this evening, love a good parts book.

  8. I have also found Moto Rapido the best, very helpful.

  9. Got the disc, thanks 470four.
