  1. My dealer put a tail tidy on for me and just said he'll keep the one that should be coming for mine...hope he's not holding his breath on that happening!!

@ResB1299 keep the comparisons with the 1299 coming, makes interesting reading and hopefully proves it's not just a pretty paint job :grinning:.

  3.
  4. What are you having done to yours, simmytt? Saw it in the workshop yesterday.

The 1299 Panigale is definitely being finished and production may already have done so. They are not building any to Euro 4 spec.

  5. Just in for a service and some exhaust work, done all welds cleaned up,flapper removed and welded up and satin polished, may change the chain if funds allow.Believe Ducati have used a loophole in the regs to continue to sell euro 3 bikes, some thing to do with low sale numbers.

  6. I heard something along the lines that they need to get any euro 3 bikes they wish to sell have to come off the production line and have a chassis number that is registered with the DVLA by a certain date (that I think has passed now).

The Anniversario looks stunning. It's a pretty good deal when you take into account the akros cost £2500 on their own and you're getting all the other shiny stuff as well.

  7. Yep they need to register them as built (not sure that means number plate) and be in the country by December 31st and then they are only allowed to sell up to 10-20% of the number of them next year I believe, so you won't see dealers with lots of them in stock!

  8. Those with the Anniversario, can you take a photo looking down on the top of the crank case please and post it here. The finish on mine is appauling and I wanted to know if its the same on anyone elses. Thanks.

  9. I only have a 1299s and have noticed the finish there isn't that great. I imagine they are taken from the same pile, so I would guess most of them are like it.

  10. Will post one up tomorrow. Can't say I've noticed, but probably haven't really looked to be honest.

  13. Yep, that all looks familiar!

  14. Eek!, I'm gobsmacked :(. Sent pics to my dealer and I'll wait to see what they come up with. Sounds like I'm "clutching" as straws. :) My other xx99's never had this issue!

  15. Madness!

  16. Really hadn't noticed until I saw your post. Will mention it to my dealer also as I've got a couple of other minor finishing issues.

  17. Dealer says mine looks tatty so we will see what he can do. Yours does look better than mine I think but still worth a punt as like I say I never had this issue on the other two bikes.

  18. my 1199 isnt like that thank god, if it was, my ocd wouldnt allow me to look at the road ahead, only the casting, then I would fall off. Then I would look at all the other, new, imperfections. :Banghead:

  19. It appears mine is getting changed. Very pleased about that becasue it looks terrible and shouldn't be like that at all, nevermind on a bike that cost this much...
