Re:"1299 bit more fiddly, undo outer screw on tank key guard then slide the plastic shroud that runs along the top of the faring to the nose cone. This gives you access to the dip beam bulbs twist and release the bulb as 899. Word of warning you have so little cable to work with on the 1299 it is a tight job refitting the connector to the bulb! But worth it !" Really struggling with this on the 1299...removed the plastic shroud that runs along the top of fairing as suggested and then twist bulb assy anticlockwise and try to ease it out...but can't get the bulb assy out! Any other tips??
Bumpity bump bump. Seems to be that the white vision 4300 K are road legal on my car (H7) but not on the bike (H11). I've gone for them anyway. BTW they're cheaper on amazon by 5 quid per pair for both sizes. Something I only found out after buying them off powerbulbs. I'll be sending those back and losing the return postage but still works out better.
Could you tell us where it is laid down in writing that a halogen bulb is legal on a car but not on a motorbike?
Nop. I'm just saying that on the powerbulbs website they clearly say the h11 white vision and diamond vision are not road legal in the eu, whereas they don't say that on the h7 pages. I have no knowledge about this stuff at all I'm just relaying what the website says.
