Ok so posted on the moaca group page! Here is a link in case someone struggles to find it! http://ducatiforum.co.uk/groups/moaca-west-london-shires-motorcyclists-certain-age.htm
At the beginning two sites were discussed, however I think the Junction 2 Beaconsfield is going to be easier for members to find as it's actually on the junction. So the short answer Beaconsfield services -10:30 this Sunday.
That's within reach of my home. Might be able to make it. How many miles do people want to do? I remember the Pheasant in Brill as pretty good food, but 10+ years since I've been there.
Doh...it looks like I'm applying my makeup in the background! Superb view. Great run out, look forward to the next one. Lovely n sunny. Not too cold (says the one with heated grips). I'll make sure it gets put in the Ride out section and a quick reminder in the Multistrada forum.
Possibly my favourite ride out this year! Good to meet everyone today. Four bikes - a 1200 Multistrada, 749, 848, and my old 900SS. Brief summary: 10:30 met up at Beaconsfield services for coffee. A little cold but nice in the sun. 11:10 Northish via Beaconsfield, Great Missenden, Wendover, where a car decided to stop dead right in front of us when a police car came charging towards us, causing the 4X4 behind it to take to the embankment. Anchors fully on avoided an incident. North West of Aylesbury on the A41 we turned off on some very narrow roads and climbed to the Windmill at Brill (see above photo, amazing view), where we stopped for coffees at The Pheasant pub. 13:10 set off for Wheatley, and then the amazing bit of bike-friendly road between Thame and England's Rose pub at Postcombe. From there followed the A40 through West Wycombe, and back onto the M40 and a steady ride home to central London. Got in about 14:15, the bike having performed faultlessly, and oiled the chain.
It was an ambulance car, but then you did have your face in the gravel  Good job that guy went off road ! I thought you were going to hit the back of him. Nearly needed some more ambulances!
I thought you looked more like you were doing a Hip Hop pose, like you've just finished rapping Was a great ride though, dan enjoyed himself too
The weather is going to be crap Saturday. Sundays looking good, so same time Sunday? New destination? May be more Ducati riders, perhaps more than one multistrada Omg:biggrin:
Ok so mr Met office says the following! Sunday 09:00 Dry and bright for a time, with sunny spells, and with strong winds easing somewhat. However, showers will develop, initially near the south coast but becoming more widespread later. Maximum temperature 12 deg So who's up for Beaconsfield?
If that forecast is right , I'll deffo be out somewhere. Bit west of you Multi Rider but if you have a plan that takes you in my direction , count me in.
