999 Grey Swing Arm Spacers

Discussion in '749 / 999' started by Cream_Revenge, Nov 16, 2016.

  1. Evening all

Anyone have or could get a picture of the swing arm fitted in the frame and engine. Ideally from over the rear wheel looking down at the back of the engine.

What i'm really after is a picture of spacers #12 and #9.

  2. What you up to now Creamy :Watching:

  3. Mine had 2x #9 which made that part of the SA 3mm wider than it should be. Gordon knows how it was fitted before but explains why it was such a bitch to get out. Just hoping to view another for 100% confirmation but I'm 99% sure I'm right.

  4. 3mm that sounds a lot, is #9 really that much thicker

  5. Yeah, its mental to be honest. Will throw up a picture tomorrow but even my insomnia won't drag me down to garage at 2:30am.

  10. Makes more sense now, where have you got all those spacers from?

  11. @Kingfixer gave me his old grey swingarm. I was just checking his old one to mine to make sure it was laid out right and I spotted the different spacers. Would never have known otherwise. Cracking bit of luck.
