Just bit the bullet and ordered the full Akro system, expensive I know, but prefer the look to the Termi. Hope it sounds and goes as good as the Termi.
I looked at the Akro, but couldn't justify the price , maybe if it came with an upmap eco then yes , went for the arrow decat pipe & silencer No maps available yet by the way, I did speak to Wilf at Moto Rapido, he is thinking about putting one together over the winter, but couldn't promise. Steve
Yes I know there's no upmap yet, I'm not convinced the Termi upmap does any more than eliminate the exhaust valve, which I've done anyway with a Ducee. Performance Parts suggested using their equivalent to a Power Commander, but I'm not convinced, and I don't think anyone has managed to crack the ECU on the Multi yet. And yes I agree the cost is a big downer, but I like the look of it better than the Arrow.
Rexxer has an upmap available, several people in the US have gotten/or are getting it installed. I am sending my ecu away this winter. There is a chap on ducati.ms that should be getting his back within the next couple days and is going to post dyno results. There are dyno results posted to Rexxer's Facebook page that look very promising.
We are all adults here, can I be brutally honest ? ....the silencer on the twin spark ( pre Dvt) was nice looking,I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, But God damn!!! ..that is one ugly silencer !!!!
Me too , not seen a termi stubby on a DVT yet ( except the pointless end can) But I would imagine it would be really loud. Also can't understand why people would spend money on generic maps really , there is nothing like a bespoke map
No bespoke maps available as yet , if ever ! We just hope these decat systems we've fittted aren't doing any engine damage
Throw an image up Blairso when you get it added please. Getting more frustrated with a 6-month delayed race exhaust for my 1200enduro. A video of before & after with sound would be good also!
Yeah will do, it was delivered last Friday, and looks really good, but I've been away since and I'm not home for another week. I've ordered the optional baffle, as I'm not sure how loud it's going to be without it. There's a sound track on Akro's web site that gives you the before and after.
Well got an email regarding the huge delay with the 1200enduro exhaust. Seems that they've had to modify the colour of the end system, so its obviously not standard??!? Here it is,...for £2k I'm holding out hopes that the end part is also titanium.
