Seems Domenicali confirmed as much in the MCN interview done at EICMA. He didn't say V4 specifically but did admit they are working on the next generation of sportsbikes and that they are designing bikes other than v twins.
2018 then? As they are allowed to sell only limited numbers of 1299 next year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Surely they'll concentrate on wsbk first and foremost so expect 1000cc or thereabouts (regs allowing)
Are v twins or whatever is under my ass, a paragraph in history? I was thinking a battery bike was the future.
Good article in performance bikes on electric bike. Looks good, fast as fuck, not too porky, 100-150 mile range. In production in usa. £30k.
Battery is here, it's becoming more affordable, massive investment in the tech and Climate regs are killing the fossil bike. I really don't want to like battery bikes, just an age thing I suppose.
Climate regs will kill the electric bike unless somebody builds some nuclear power stations because there'll be nothing to charge the batteries with..
I know I know, but who is bitching about the hysteria about nuclear. The fecking Ines that want battery vehicles. Sorry OP. I'm blaming Gimlet for taking the thread off topic
No doubt the 1000cc WSBK and road bike will come first, but the smaller version ( if there is one) could be fantastic.
exactly, and that is why a V5 shouldn't be ruled out especially as Volkswagen already have some experience.
