Its the least used of my bikes (gets used for a trip to the TT and a couple of trips out during the course of the year). It looks pretty stock but has had a fair bit of work done to it. Ive tried to keep it looking as stock as possible. Mods are as follows. And I may forget stuff and if I do ill add to it. 1. Ohlins rear shock replace with Nitron Race pro (spring for 15st rider) suspension calibrated for this/me. 2. Full race Akrapovic system with shortened can (was repacked 1000 miles ago). 3. Lightech rearsets. 4. Running light conversion to indicators. 5. Oberon bar end mirror. 6. Brembo RCS slave front brake. 7. Shorty ASV clutch lever. 8. Factory Quickshifter added 9. Integrated rear backlight/indicators 10. ECU reflashed with custom flash. The ecu was flashed by a member on the AF1 forum who tracks his own rsv4 and the map that's been applied to mine is the result of lots of testing on his. Mods are as follows.... Custom fuel mapping. The 3 modes WET, RAIN and TRACK have been replace with 3 variations of the RACE each map has 3 different degrees of engine braking for long or short circuit racing. Flapper valve motor removed as per stock RACE mode. 11. Front fork seals replaced recently also ohlins fork mod carried out as per this guide. Ohlins fork set-up on Factory and APRC 12. Lightech front sprocket cover and gear selector holder. 13. Samco Hose kit 13. Heavy duty starter cables to replace stock oem cables. 14. Driven block off plates. (SAS pipework removed) 15. Twin headlight HiD conversion. (LH switchgear modded [Diode added] so the dip beam does not switch off when the full beam is activated) 16. Hel brake lines. 17. Crash Bungs on engine, front and rear spindles. 18. Stomp tank grips. Bike has just been MOT'd 2 weeks ago and went through bar the advisory for noise (what would be expected). The supercorsa's done have a great deal of life left in them but they were good enough for MOT. Bike has done just shy of 11k. At 12k the valve clearances will need to be done. There is no hard point for valve clearances but usually they need doing once the bike becomes hard to start. Mine starts on the button but it was something I was just about to do. It gets silkolene pro4 fully synthetic oil usually every couple of k. I do these myself. I had a stamp in the book when I got the bike (done at Luigi motos) but, since then all its needed it oil changes. The only issue ive ever had in the time ive had it was the rocker covers leaking to which I ordered the updated replacement parts (they are a different shape). That's it in 4 years of ownership - its visited the TT 4 times and each time its been a pleasure. If I could get another sports bike id get another one of these. It somes with a few of the original spares but not many but i cant see the point in filling my garage with stuff thatll never go back on. Reason for sale is the other half has just been made redundant so the garage queen has to go. It gets the least used and the most pampered. The above news has literally happened tonight. I had factored in the valve clearances to be done along with the tyres in the new year (as its not going to see the light of day til the spring) but needs must. Price is 8k which given the work and the stuff done to It I reckon is a steal. If it doesnt sell come the new year then ill press on with the valve check and new tyres but the price will go up a bit.
Mate, sorry to hear your news, never easy especially this close to Christmas. Good luck with your partner finding a new job and good luck with the RSV. Andy
Unlucky dude. Not nice for wifey/family. No decent payoff then. Never know, she may get something soon. Could you not sell the cats?

Love this bike. Spent a lot of time and dosh on it....and as I said if I didn't own it is have another one but I'd rather have mine as it's been so good.
I love mine.... If i can keep hold of it, itll be a new set of hoops (200 rear)- first time I've tried one.... Valve clearance, then it'll be good for the rest of the year.... Have to see what happens... Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
