  1. I think most of us just ignored it ;)

  4. £15k for the base model (ie standard cans)

Or are you talking about the "special" version they had at the show with underslung exhausts etc? In which case £17k.

  5. Wait.... did u say 17k for a 959... or 15k come to think of it, Jesus wept.

I really would take a punt on a RSV4 RF for that money, a lovely bike all the same but that's getting pricey!

  8. I know but that's what they had on the bike they were showing at the NEC.

  9. Ha ha a bite well in the elite group at Snetterton track day I murdered a paniugly r in his Dianese one piece on my ancient R6 ..
But obviously I'd struggle against Rutter or Chaz
72 grand surely it's going to be a track day special for those who can afford it .I was just being realistic. I would have one if I won the lotto

  10. Garage queen more likely to be honest.

  11. Is nice, I saw it Saturday, looks lovely in flesh compared to the standard bike. But £££.

  12. The SL2 is a technical marvel. The cover at the bottom where the underslung exhausts were on the other models looks appalling IMO though. Would have been better looking like Shakey's BSB bike around the corner.

  13. 15k and I might of been tempted but not at that price

  14. Well the showroom was very quiet on Saturday.......

  15. Ducati Aylesbury were selling my standard, low mileage, 6 month old 959 for £10.5k. Put Akra end cans and upmap on that and you've only spent £13k. Or spend £700 and put the 1299 under belly cans on for a lovely looking £11k+ 959.

They sold me a low mileage 2015 1299s a couple of months ago for £16.5k (they had two in at that, both under 5k miles). There is no way, when you can get active ohlins suspension, lighter wheels, single sided swingarm, m50 calipers, cornering ABS, DTC EVO, and another 40bhp that you would ever spend £1k more on a 959.....
