So last night about 4am there was a stabbing right in front of my house (can see scene through my side window). Shortly after it there was plenty police, red crime tape, ambulances the entire army. No man in white coats so guess no one died. Apparently drug related what ever. They could not choose dumber place to meet, one way in by car two if on foot but about 20 apartments have direct view of the area. Thing is I slept through ambulance and police cars rushing to the scene on full lights. Apparently entire hood got woken up now I know not the case as I had best sleep for a while So what other odd things you slept through? I also manage to sleep through a storm that was later upgraded to a hurricane. When I was going to sleep it was windy and rain in morning entire are was in pieces. Again great sleep I had that night.
I also slept though a hurricane. The one that hit the south east in 87. Woke up to find what was left of someone's shed in the road in front of our house.
I slept through an earthquake in Greece a few years ago. Doubt I would nowadays given the amount of sleep I seem to get recently
Me too, slept right through the great storm of 87', got a bit of a shock though when I opened the front door and there were trees blown down all over the place, had to walk to the pub, most inconvenient.
Once fell asleep at a Rolling Stones gig in about 81 (Bristol, Ashton Gate) no, you shouldn't ask....good days
UK Monster Owners Club weekender, slept through a helicopter landing and taking off fairly close to my tent
LOL - and me, despite our TV arial and a chunk of our roof being blown off. I was living in Brighton at the time - the elms were blown down on Elm Grove and The Level was well-and-truly levelled. I remember walking to the pub and drinking by torchlight!
I slept through a bear ripping through the fly-sheet of my tent, right next to my head last year! My mates were in the next tent, only a few feet away and they were crapping themselves!
my son slept through a sea plane flight - I nodded off in a private box during a Metallica concert at the O2
I crashed out in my sleeping bag, much the worst for wear, in Lahore Pakistan in a crummy hotel in 1975 on route to India and madness, forgot I had lodged a lit 'joss stick' in the bottom of the rope bed. My mate punched me awake with the room full of choking smoke, I exited my smouldering sleeping bag and fumbled for the light switch and at the same time switched on the over head fan which had the effect of turning the smouldering bag into a full blown fire. I had to run up stairs to fetch some water to dowse the flames. We tried to hide the damaged bed in the morning and make our exit, but got caught which got a bit nasty!
If that is the case then I managed to do that in my sleep and I also managed to frame another guy. To top that off cooper I spoke to suspected nothing If all that was done asleep imagine what I could do awake!!
