Up for grabs is my 1199 ABS (2012) Didn't think I'd ever be writing this but I've got a 1098R on the way and have a hard enough time justifying 2 let alone 3 bikes!! Just shy of 4000 miles with Full DSH, 2 Keys all Books etc Stunning bike with the following Extras.. Ultra Rare Carbon Race Termignoni exhaust with Race Filter and Custom Map from MR CNC "Le Pramac" Limited Edition Rearsets DP Carbon Front Mudguard DP Carbon Rear Hugger DP Race Seat DP Carbon Shock Cover DP Carbon Swing Arm Cover DP Clear Tank Pad DP Carbon Key Guard Titanium Fairing screws Brand New Puig DB screen (not fitted) New Supersprox Rear sprocket and AFAM Gold Chain and Front Sprocket DP Brake Lever Guard Tail Tidy (EvoTech I think) Supercoras (Done approx 500 miles) MOT Until Feb Next Year Last Serviced at MR February this year Comes with original Exhausts, Rearsets, unused pillion seat and pegs and replaced plastics apart from the mudguards as they were done before my ownership. Bad Bits Small blemish on right hand upper fairing (touched up by previous owner, barely visi) One fairing fastener underneath is damaged (but still there, will get a pic at the weekend in the light, doesn't move/flap about). I've had this bike for 1.5 years and it's been great, always fancied an "R" model and probably should have looked harder before I bought this tbh... lovely bike, will be sad to see it go and first to see it will definitely have her. Looking for millions but would probably settle for £13250 or nearest decent offer. I'm in no rush to sell and won't sell off bits individually unless I get no interest at all. Well there aren't many for sale at the moment so my answer will probably give it away.... but it's a Dealer purchase... but I'll say no more incase I jinx it and it falls out of the delivery van or gets beamed up by aliens on account of its rare beauty and general awesomeness and I never get to have it
Thought I'd add some better pics, taken today.... I appreciate I'm asking fair whack for a "standard 1199 ABS" but seeing as an unmodded example is going for between 10.5-11.5K I reckon the exhausts, rearsets and carbon could be recycled for nearly 2K so it's a pretty good deal.. I'm even toying with the idea of keeping it...we'll see... had no interest yet (understandable this time of year I suppose) and not one ridiculous offer through ebay! which I'm even more surprised about.... :fearscream::fearscream:
Why not take the exhausts and shiny bits off and sell them separately as its the best way to get the most from your sale. A little bit of effort will be worth it. Not wishing to burst your bubble but you can get a 2014 1199 ABS from a dealer (MR) with similar miles at sub £11k. You could then buy the shiny bits at retail and still be left with change. I paid less than you are asking brand new in 2014 for mine to put all this into context. A 2012 1199S with termi can be had for £13k now with sub 5k miles. 1098R is a great bike. Enjoy it. I want one.
Cheers for the input, genuinely appreciated, I'm not desperately trying to get rid (although the other half would disagree) which is why i thought I'd advertise it as is originally, I've put it up high as I'd fully expect to get knocked down to a figure I'd be happy with, as let's face it no one gets their asking price unless it's an absolute steal... I'll see how it goes but tbh honest I'm expecting to still have it until February when people start to look again...
Asking price dropped to 12850 (obviously expecting offers...) but she won't go with all the bits for less than 12650.... if not gone by Feb/March I'll take it for a service and MOT take all the bits off and sell her for between 10-11K as standard.... so if you know anyone, please give them a nudge.. cheers

Bad Bits Small blemish on right hand upper fairing (touched up by previous owner, barely visible) One fairing fastener underneath is damaged (but still there, and doesn't move/flap about and some gravel chips on the swingarm cover where they got stuck under the swingarm cover and rubbed), and finally slightly pitted front discs (there since I bought it), all the aforementioned "blemishes" are not overly visible unless you go looking for them and know they are there, I'm just being as honest as I can. Can update with newer pics if required.. it just looks the same without the carbon and rearsets. Looking for somewhere near 10.5K Open to sensible offers as the R is FINALLY ready to play with!!! I've been offered a decent amount by Moto Rapido for it and believe it or not slightly more from webuyanybike.com .... if anyone is interested please get in touch, I've had enough timewasters so please only serious enquires, genuine bike and rides perfectly...
Very nice. Can't believe it's not gone yet. I took an S out today on a test ride and I was just beginning to enjoy it and then the engine management / BBS light came on. Typical. Only 3k miles on the clock too... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's a bugger, best come and buy mine then!! they are great bikes, completely different to the older Ducs huh? yeah I'm surprised there's been no interest in mine, I'll chuck it back on ebay again at 10.5 ono and see if I get any interest, if not I'll give it to Moto Rapido and they'll sell it on for 11.5 they reckon.. to be honest I've never sold a bike of this value before so I kind of understand people are not too keen on buying privately..
