I bought the Magneti Marelli Lithium for my 848 and it was less than £100.

 

They are not cheap. I think I paid US $180. however i'm hoping it will last 5+ years

 

I have no charger for mine as it doesn't tend to lose any charge like other batteries do.

 

If you have any kind of drain though, such as an alarm or tracker, they will lose charge just as quickly as anything else.

Motobatt are AGM batteries, so do pack a bigger punch than straight lead acid. However there is a bit of a question mark about their robustness. Having said that, many people swear by them.
