1199 Ducati 899 - 959 - 1199 - 1299 Modifications - What Have You Done To Yours?

  1. you must have the wrong bolt, t15 is normal on all panis.
the 1299s i had for test ride, had this bolt missing, the saleman told me someone must have stolen it?
what, but they left the seat? :Banghead:

  2. My 959 (new) and 1299 were both a 3mm hex. One hell of a coincidence to get two different bikes both with the same (wrong?) bolt.....

  3. Yeah I had to wait 6 weeks for rearsets when I was initially told 1 working week.... give them a call as they are very helpful and a some of their stuff is made to order so they are at the mercy of Italy on quite a few items...

  4. yeah, your right actually, they are like the side faring bolts. Me being wrong is always a coincidence....

  7. I think hex will fit in a triple square and a torx hole.

  8. Changed the grips and bar ends today. The left side handle bar had old water inside!

  9. Drastically better than standard ones

  10. Progrips are always on my new bike order form. I get the dealer to swap them before I even collect!

  11. :Vomit:

  12. I've never changed from standard grips, do they help with vibration/fatigue?

  13. I doubt it. It is more the grip for me if I'm hanging off a little. I can keep a light grip on the throttle and not slip off of the grip.

I only have problems with vibration/fatigue if I'm holding on too tight.

  15. The MCT shock rebuild will make a huge difference, I really struggled with a vague feeling from the rear before and would occasionally get kicked out the seat over what felt like the smallest bump, it's much more consistent now.

What colour gold did u get the wheels done?

  16. Thats what Im hoping for with the shock mate - was the same as you say bucked out of the seat alot!

Gold..... lol. Will ask the lads that did it mate

  17. Cheers, I believe the official colour is 'Palini 928 D353' but not 100%

Either way it looks superb and the spoke design really helps

  18. The shock makes a big difference inwas about to Trade My 959 in as it was terrible on some of the roads I ride and now I love it.

  19. Had the track fairings wrapped. Might add a decal or two IMG_3473.JPG IMG_3472.JPG

  20. I'm going the same direction (satin black) with my track fairings. Going to get the tank wrapped as well.

Are they the DP Track fairings?
