  4. Good sunsets, not such good bikes!

  5. Good sunsets AND good bikes .
Here's my magnificent Bajaj Pulsar that I bought 2nd hand 6 years ago, done over 30k sometimes on the roughest roads known to man, through desert and jungle, never once gone wrong, ticks over like a Swiss watch despite the extremely rough treatment I give it. Saved my life last week when exploring in the jungle and got horribly lost and was forced to negotiate a couple of shallow rivers and some very rough rocky tracks.

  6. Apear to have problems uploading Pulsar photo, I will try emailing it to Chris and maybe he will upload for me.

  9. I rode a Pulsar a few times when I lived in the Maldives... power is.... ummmmmm... well, it's not all about power! You're right though, they do seem to run forever on zero maintenance!

  10. Reason the Pulsar is such a good bike is it has just the right amount of power for Indian roads, any more and you start getting into trouble.
Preventive maintenance- a concept totally foreign to the majority of Indian bike riders, is what keeps my bike in tip top shape. When a full service by probably the best mechanic I've had the pleasure to watch work on my bike costs less than a fiver, it's a no brainer to keep it all 100 percent , especially as my life depends on it all working perfectly.

  16. No but will be tomorrow when the roads are nice and empty. Supposed to be quite warm down here too. Unusual not to see the roads/fields flooded too!

  19. Another use for a discarded coconut husk- side stand puck.
Left my bike parked up recently, came back to find it on its side in the sand. Wouldn't start as carb flooded so had to abandon and set off to start walking/ ImageUploadedByTapatalk1482666798.325315.jpg hitch hiking 10 miles home, luckily pursued tuk tuk driver to run me home, cost me an arm and a leg though, nearly £3 FFS !
Returned the following morning and started straight away.

Now wiser, I use the coconut husk, works a treat.
