I used to own 3, yep, 3, Hillman Imps, they were fun to drive, especially the twin cam, twin carb one, did about 125mph, but used all the road to do it, (both sides!) More fun than my Mini to drive too.
That engine makes a superb noise. But I always fancied it was a bit of a Richard Burton when you had to give it something to drink. What mpg did you reckon to get? I would have loved the 2.5 V6 version in my 156SW, but opted for the sad 2.0 TS version. Sigh.
Always been a Landy driver. Got a TD5 Landy I've had for 5 years. Brilliant vehicle! Also got the Alfa Mito Cloverleaf (my tarts car!). Really nippy. 1.4l engine (170 bhp). Fab little thing, but this is going to be replaced with the Hypermotard!!! (my elderly Landy in the background)
Nice 90, mines on page2. And I almost bought the wife a Mito but took the cheapskate option and went for the 500.
Oh. That is a nice 90. Thinking of updating mine before they bring in the hideous replacement. The 500 is cool as. You'll have to test drive the Cloverleaf Mito when you next change though. It's silly fun. Going to miss it when she goes, but I don't really need two cars!
I drive a vito 116cdi dualiner sport, the only car I want to own is a 911S that I had before, I miss that car The one I miss !
Having had the pleasure of 3 laps of Snetterton in a 911 on Sunday I can understand why you want another! I have never been a Porsche fan as I'm not sold on the styling, but by Christ what a car! I will always remember overtaking an Aston Martin around the outside of Corams with the tyres just starting to squeal as they fought for grip!
This should get me super discount on Ducati stuff now. Im picking up a Red Audi A4 on Thursday, Decided to try a 3.0 TDI Avant quattro after playing in my mate A5 with the same engine in it. Farkin ell you wont believe how quick a derv can be! And it still gets in his words fuckingunbeliveablempg.
Nowt wrong with a Crapi. I had a 2 litre S for a while, only got rid of it when I ran out of kurust...
