I did buy a belt actually. But it was from the Lacoste shop, although it was an exact fit ironically.
As the weather was still good around 11:30 this morning, I bribed Carole with the promise of lunch to go for run out. Had a lovely snack in the Swan just outside Newbury and then headed out to Hurstbourne Tarrant then Pewsey and up to Marlborough for tea and a cake before a blast back up the A4. Got about 75 miles done on a few gnarly B roads as well as some fast A roads. Great fun and now going to slob in front of the telly. Andy
If you facny a slightly longer ride thru the cotswolds (although only an hour from Newbury ), drop me a line and pop along for a coffee Be nice to catch up
I appreciate the invite and will be in touch. Got 3 mornings at work next week and that's it until January. Thinking about it, I've only got 13 and a half days in January before full time retirement beckons . Andy

I like an element of jeopardy with the wife's Christmas present: "Estimated delivery: 15 Dec. 2016 - 24 Dec. 2016"
Got stuck into the stripping match that precedes the new belts and check valve shims service - end result - the multi is now spread all over my garage floor. While I'm at it I will fit the new battery cable upgrade and fettle anything else that crops up. Not in any rush, as if the roads aren't bad enough the farmers around here seem to have gone into shit spraying hyperdrive. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
