Well I'm an Ealing Broadway lad living here since '83. Was an Ace Cafe regular back in the day '68 - Had several Norton Dommi's 88 and 99's. Currently own a yellow 749. Roads here are fun. Car drivers here especially 4WD owners are incompetent. Great to sign up here and meet you all, although I don't expect to be blatting through the English countryside with anyone too soon... (Does my obviously advanced age make me a Senior Member already?)
Morning and welcome You need a few more posts before your a senior enjoy your youth while you can The others will be along shortly watch put for the locals
Hi Jonno, I'm afraid age has nothing to do with seniority, and maturity goes out of the window when you join the forum! Have fun down under and watch out for those 4x4's!
Hi johnno, i hope you are going to post plenty of pictures of NZ and your Ducati. It has been a long held dream of mine to ride around both islands. I nearly moved there myself a few years back and just love the scenery.
Hi Dave, sorry I didn't see you there. How's life in the deep south? Hope you're getting better weather than we are up here in Auckland. (I'm betting the SUV owners down there use them for better activities than designer shopping and dropping the kids off at school, and causing mayhem in between - my pet gripe at the moment...)
Lifes good here ATM, the Burt Munro's on, the weathers good, so can't complain. Lots of 4WD's here, some with REAL mud on 'em, but we still get some of the " I own the road" types in their "on road only" off road vehicles too.
