bearing in mind the welsh really are the true descendant's from the brits. there aint a doubt in my mind.:smileys:
just watched, thank you,,,, well, as booby boy says, nothing new there, just the same old same old Andrew Neil pandering to his Andy Capp mentality audience, simplistic approach to a complex situation, thankfully our man was up for him...
i'm not your descendant. your one of mine. i am applying for a Scottish passport yes, via the national
especially your old chap and even more so of the vacuum is a dyson. That looks like a spin off series book from Harry Potter
J.K can go do one. in fact i think she might of bitten off more than she can chew with her dodgy tweets. we will let the courts decide.
Just a hyperthetical question here for those of Scottish blood, and i do mean this sincerely and with upmost respect because at least you love your country. Let's just say that the UK, and I mean all of us, leave the EU together and it's what the media describe as Hard Brexit, in other words no free movement of people and because of that we're trading under tit for tat tariffs. Should another Scottish referendum come around, and the choice was to leave the UK and join the EU, by which you'd take on the euro as currency and everything else that comes with it, would you hand on heart vote to leave? You see it intrigues me as I know how passionate you guys are about your country, and I just think that the move towards the EU might just be a stretch too far for most. Maybe I'm wrong, but it'd surprise me if that happened, even though you're not exactly fond of the English, it feels more like a love hate relationship and really you just like the banter with us
a bit inaccurate on a couple of things, several countries in the EU dont use the Euro. not so much a love for the country as a hate and distrust of Westminster. i am afraid you will have to go all the way back to the beginning of the union to understand the position we are in now. forget the failed Darrion scheme and look more to the alien act. democracy aint what it is now, less than 1% in scotland voted to create the union, it was apposed by pretty much everybody including the church, there was rioting on the streets, and various uprisings since. it was only about ten or so years when the first attempt to end the union failed after Westminster reneged on certain tax and duty promises that where made. a majority had been secured for the vote but three abstained at the last minute and that was that. there is no hatred of the English in the real sense, any division you will have seen in the last 5years or so has been whipped by the media, the torys and its evil twin ukip. i will add, over a 100 countries and colonies, have left the uk in the last century and dont seem to be in any rush to rejoin. one last thing, and this is more for the ones that will have the vote next time, why is it, that the torys wont subsidize an extra bedroom for the disabled but are happy to subsidize a whole country? if being British is your thing then cool, no worries, but if your not take a look around at the small countries that are doing v.well for them selves with a fraction of the resources we have up here. but if you think we are too wee too poor too stupid. well, you probably are.
