Selling my 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale ABS. Bike is in great condition, has never been crashed, rides extremely well, has been well looked after and maintained. There are a few marks, couple of stone chips on the front and a mark on the O/S bar end from poor manoeuvring in the garage, other than that the bike is in good condition. Very reluctant sale, but since the arrival of our baby girl this year and other accompanying circumstances the spare cash is needed, I knew this would be my last summer with a bike for a little while. If you have any questions or require more photos please get in touch. Viewings can be arranged at any time given some notice. Edit - I am looking for £10,600 ono (price drop) More details about the bike can be seen below. Not sure yet mate. Mrs might not be going back to work next year after maternity leave, so will have to judge it then.
Lovely, you might want to stick this in the "machines" section or the "for sale" as it will be more prominent! GLWS and the new family member
Is that the we buy any bike people ? Or a private buyer off here ? Quite a price drop in only a few days up for sale, I am assuming there is nothing wrong with the bike.
I went through we buy any bike a few weeks ago and they offered £7.5k, then went through we want any bike and they offered £9k. Only real interest I've had is this one chap off ebay who has offered £9k, the rest have just been time wasters. No interest from here or off of facebook Nothing wrong with the bike, other than what is mentioned above and recently found, one screen plastic tab has broken off. Ideally i didn't really want to let it go for that so that's why i've dropped the price to see if i can entice anyone else out of the wood work to make a better offer, but with the amount of genuine interest i've had i doubt it. I'll leave it for a couple of days and if nothing comes through then i'll sell as i'm after a quick sale. Not yet, i'll update the thread as soon as it is.
You may want to mention what was discovered on the bike today, before anyone else gets let down
At 9500 you'd have had me out of the woodwork a month ago at that spec & mileage! I walked from a local dealer as he wouldn't budge £1 on a 2012 bike (it's still there) with 12k on it, it was £10k without or £11k with Termi's & UpMap. So I bought a bike in Wales in the 2nd week in December. If you're not tied to selling right now I'd hang un until March or so, things are quiet now & I'm in the motor trade so I do know!
The chaps brother came to view the bike and found that the lockstop on the left side has broken off. Was a surprise to me as well as the bike has never been crashed or dropped and I had never noticed an issue with it until it was mentioned. The person who made me the first offer has been made aware of the defect and the price has been adjusted to compensate for repair. Bike is now sold pending payment and collection tomorrow.
