I have bloody Mary lined up for Xmas breakfast so no riding for me. Got ok for a few hours boxing day morning/27th for some bike work. I need daylight so these short days are killing project T9 refurb.
We've just had a flood in the kitchen as the boiling water tap/tank filter has decided to explode this evening. I've finally managed to stop the flow of water and we're now waiting for a plumber to come out to try and sort it properly. However in the meantime the water has leaked through the kitchen floor/bedroom ceiling below (upside down house) and has soaked the bedroom carpet. It'll be fun and games tomorrow trying to get the job sorted and getting an insurance claim sorted too. :rage:
After one hell of a night, I got out to the butcher and fish monger to collect the main event for Christmas day. Got back absolutely knackered and fell asleep on the sofa immediately. Been drifting in and out of sleep all afternoon, pulled muscle giving jip and still had nothing to eat for 2 days, just drinking water. Worse news, Carole's present is still on its way from Sweden, mega disappointed. Hopefully feel well enough to venture out tomorrow to see if I can find something nice to wrap up. Of all the people in my world, Carole is the one who deserves something special. If you are feeling fine, great but if you are feeling shit, I truly hope you feel better for Christmas day. Andy
