Ducati's like KTM's, are the bikes where the statement of "full service history" should also be followed by " have the big ones been done and if not, when are they due?" It's no good getting a few hundred off if a £500 service is about to follow.

There's an 1198SP on eBay but it's a bitsa and not genuine/original. Would be ok for a race bike though so is it possible to easily check if the engine is a real SP? By the engine number? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Odd thing for a seller who specialises in shoes and clothing to have for sale. No dyno charts which is disappointing because I'd really like to compare it to my build. I've only got mag wheels and a measly 54mm system but I'll bet my engine is better and cost a lot less to build . Andy Edit : also just noticed one of the receipts is from Pro Twins.
Shame huh. Could probably be put right fairly cheaply. Just the wheels repainting would make a big difference.
All the lettering on the tank and fairings have been changed to match the yellow gold wheels and if memory serves, a Probolt anodised aluminium bolt set and frame plugs in, yes you've guessed it, yellow gold. Blurgh ! Andy
