100% correct - I've said on here before that a mate of mine who is a very successful and wealthy car dealer always picked out one piece of stock and put it up at double market value! People used to travel to see what was so special about the particular car? Quite often he would get a punter who loved a good haggle bid him £4/5.000 off advertised price- guess what? He owned it!
Years ago when all the lads went on golf or rugby tour to foreign climes - a week of total drunken madness and debauchary away from the ranch! A few of us (not all!) would invariably end up in the local "gentlmans club",knocking shop! A mate of mine who had male model looks and physique and could pull stunning women would always go for a girl with below average looks and a bit of a plump body cos he reckoned that they try a lot harder as they don't get picked very often! Hahaha
Sorry but its a tad ugly! The seat is half finished.....The front fairing cowl as well...The petrol tank is at the wrong angle and the frame looks like scaffold with box section added..Would love to see it on a track day with a 999
I'm suspicious of that bike... here's why, firstly the stuff that's obvious then the bits I'm not sure of..... 1) the brake calipers are wrong, should be the 4 pad newer style ones. 2) even the early bikes had carbon fibre lower airbox, a slab side one should also have the carbon detail into the seat unit. 3) a 2002 should have the Ohlins steering damper, some early ones didn't but by 2002 they should have done. 4) (less sure on this) the cam covers don't look 'spaced' with a gap in them, one thing to check would be if the front cylinder head has 'desmo' on it. I'm not saying it's definitely not legit but it's got enough obvious stuff wrong that it can't really be worth more than 6k Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
