  1. I checked my nearest Tesco express a few hundred yards away. Shuts 10pm Christmas Eve and opens 8am Boxing day. Not sure how i'll cope...........

  5. Thank you,this is exactly what I wanted to know and from someone who has experience of the marque! I shook his hand @ £1800 cash today,gave him a monkey deposit and collect it after new year break.I don't like trailer queens so apart from a new mot,a full service and a damm good clean it will stay as it is - unmolested.The tyres are perished as it's been standing and these will need doing anyway for a "no favours" mot and the kickstart seems a bit sloppy on the spline so I will have a look at that before using?Bump starting is in my blood - I've owned a lot of Triumphs,Nortons,BSA etc! Thanks for your good advice chap

Years ago when I was fully on the sauce my drinks cabinet looked very similar to that every Christmas.Then come Jan/Feb I'd even of worked my way through dusty bottles of sugary liqueur from some far flung shores,crap undrinkable (but I would n could!) homemade wines,fete bottles and anything else alcoholic!Was a full AA and NA member for many years then about 2 years ago I started drinking again - but to enjoy it not to get totally obliterated! Life is good!

I never had a drinking problem, some & most of the bottles have been sitting there for 10-15 years, the last time I cracked a bottle of wine open was on 28 of this year, that 2 days after my daughter was born and on the day when I brought her home...here is the bottle that I opened and celebrated our new family member, look at the date on the bottle...that's the year I bought it.

  8. Last night I was on the frozen mojitos that have been at the bottom of the freezer since May as the house was dry. Went shopping today

  16. This morning I was in the office till 11am then wrapped up and came home. This afternoon done a bit of sorting in the kitchen following last nights flood then I watched 4 episodes of game of Thrones and The Amazing Spiderman film whilst SWMBO busied herself with sorting stuff out for Xmas day. :upyeah:
