More so when I first built the motor to this spec (185 BHP) with a 130 Rear tyre, more conventional mono shock & standard forks and brakes (single piston per callipers) - I was 19 then oh, it had an MBX 50 headlight then It was a little bit harder to handle than the modern breed of Hyper-bikes but similar power, albeit with a two stroke kick on steroids at 5000rpm.
And my 2016 FJR, here on tour in the Highlands with my Dad on his XT660, the FJR has been a complete sack and is even less reliable than a Multistrada! (That's why I want one)
Arrived in goa today for a couple of months relaxation and sourced myself this dirty old dog for the duration. No kick start, sounds the business and handles like a dream, sort of.
