I suspect you are correct, when he is proven wrong, he goes quiet and puts his head in the sand hoping it will all go away. So he will indeed have left, or more likely claim world destruction is still going to happen in the future. We'll be talking to each other about how it all worked out great and remembering the duke and his unfounded delusions with much nostalgia. Yep and I will remind you when the protectionist Russian loving right wing governments of the west end up at each other's throats and the world falls back into conflict. As is always the way of right wing governments.
