My first day out since before Christmas today and saw this bike when I popped in to collect Carole's Christmas present that eventually found its way from Sweden. The bike looks immaculate but is not original. The Akrapovic 70mm system has carbon cans and looks the mutt's, aftermarket fluid reservoirs that I haven't seen before, Lightech clipons and that mint 20 litre alluminium alloy tank. Not sure if all the OE stuff is available but whoever buys it will get a very good looking bike. Andy
Is it proper mint mint? whose best person to speak to there? Couldn't decide if its been a track bike or something as the tank isn't a mod I've come across before
The current owner obviously has spent a lot of time and money making it his and keeping it in top condition. The tank is an obvious mod because the stock 14 litre tank is pathetic, giving a max range of about 80 to 90 miles. Talk to George or Andrew for the full sp. IMO looking at the condition, I do not believe the bike has seen much if any track time based on the condition of the wheels which are unmarked. This bike is probably on its third set of tyres ! Andy
Yes, as bradders says, custom made. Looks like a reasonable paint job but the multi coloured 1098 logo is not for me. Andy
