I nearly bought a 1098R from Vagn Jensen before I bought the one I did. Spoke to the salesman and they were spot on on the phone I have to say. They had no service history for it which stopped me buying it at the time.

Did u see my 899 sat outside in the rain, lonely and unloved waiting to be fixed? I'm guessing that the 1098r is a fair price given that it seems to be driving a fair amount of interest. For me, I think I would want any R model Ducati to be completely original or easy to return to stock. The one at Snells has drilled fairings which makes me cry a little! All the bikes outside were moved under the awning to give some protection from the elements so a little bit loved . Didn't know that there is one at Snells so I might have a butcher's later in the week. I'm very sorry but you will have to get in the queue for the 996R upstairs and just so you know, I'm first on the list and have been since the day Wilf took it in part ex . Andy
