Yes but it'll be good to see what they/normal people/race teams squeeze out of them... Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk
My sources say that they are very pleased with initial dyno run without any modifications. They cannot divulge any data currently, embargo from mr honda
Bit like an old bean........... Has been The new Honda is disappointing and I know having owned a few, but the new pricing on a re-run that is nigh on 9 years old is a little high on a product that is not really new. I was hoping Honda had really bought out a new machine ready for the next 10 years was going to be something special, especially given the RC213 V$ racing bike that broke cover and dreams of a V4 engine. Other manufacturers have moved on with new chassis designs and electronics. I will be looking at others before I even consider a blade again.
Mine was a 2010 Factory, and LOVED it. Put 10's of thousands of miles on it and it never let me down.
I couldn't fault my 2010 blade, I just change bikes a lot but really nothing wrong with it as far as road bikes go. It was just time for a refresh and electronic package update, which yes they've done, but I don't know whether they've done enough to appease the masses.
Yes - its very "this or that" isnt it? it really could go one way or the other. I suppose you can build something thats going to the absolutely everything but, as someone else said the Beemer is the benchmark, i never had a go on one, be nice if i could but the last time i had a go one someone else's bike i wrote it off....so i dont suppose thatll happen any time soon...
Yeah - mines done about 11k now and its supposed to be one of the, if not the worst from a reliability point of view but mines been brilliant. Had a couple of minor (very minor) issues. One tps sensor and a leaky rocker cover (first one cost 20 quid and the second was cured with a part update). Its just about to come apart for its valve clearances...are you on the af1 forum.? recognize the name...
I bought a new one in 2008 and it was brilliant but cost me new £9,200 . Seems like they have gone up a lot over 9 years.
