  1. Too cold here for all that garage malarkey. So sofa surfing watching the darts. :upyeah:

  2. I got a set of overalls for Christmas. Apart from keeping my jeans grease free they are amazingly warm.

  3. Mel bought an 800 Monster in 'Aubergine', absolutely gopping! When I sold my 620 which was yellow We swopped the tank, panels etc over, changed both log books then I had the 800, much nicer in yellow.

  4. We have just finished What must rate as one of the worst jobs known to mankind. Upgraded the insulation in the loft. First empty loft, 31 years of crap!! Then spent the afternoon putting down the new insulation, quite nice to use, non itchy stuff. Double layered so now has 20 inches! I can almost feel my fuel bills dropping. I am covered in small bruises banging my head etc when trying to get the insulation into the eaves. Still job done. Very little going back up!

  5. Poor girl :D

  6. I'm not feeling well
Wrapped in blanket thick jacket and hood up heating on and still cold
    :(

  7. Have they not given you your heating allowance yet? :p

  8. It's full blast ET

  9. That was me last week, think I have shaken it off now. Get well soon.

  10. That's how I felt the week before Christmas and I'm still struggling to shake it off. Keep wrapped up, drink plenty of fluids and hibernate. Hope you GWS. Andy

  11. I bought one and put Kodi on it before Xmas. I was over the moon when I discovered the Laurel and Hardy collection of movies. :)

  12. Popped in to Halfords to pick up a socket tray for my new tool cabinet. Not identical to the socket set I've got but neat enough. Also found a 12 combination ratchet spanner set reduced from £100 to £50. Seeing as it's my birthday next week, I treated myself :). Andy

  13. My wife's a scouser - it always confuses me when she puts her pyjamas on.
She could be going to bed or to ASDA

  14. I'm getting ready to go to my 3yo grandsons birthday party. :)

However I am in the bad books with #1 son as I won't be able to make my 5yo grandsons birthday party next Sunday as I'll be on my way to France for my snowboarding holiday, which I didn't organise, but had paid a deposit of £150 before I knew the dates.

    Naughty grandad :confuse:

Ps it doesn't count that I gave up two tickets to see a band I'd wanted to see for ages before Xmas just so I could babysit for them that evening. Cost me £100 too. But it doesn't count apparently.

  15.
  16. Take the ear plugs, 3yr party is LOUD!

And you can't please everyone all the time.

  17. Tell me about it. We've got #2 son, wife and 2 x kids here too (stayed overnight) as it's a bit quicker getting to the party for 10am from our house. Weve been up since 6am with the 18month old running around like a loon and screaming/laughing like a banshee.
I may end up having words today. They've known about my holiday for the past 9 months and decided to have a dig a week ago. It'll be hard to bite my tongue that's for sure.
