TBF they were the racers not the bikes...and in the fast group probably 30 seconds quicker than some others a lap at Silverstone in the same group I had a couple mess with me on exit, which on a multi and a big fella riding it means there will only be one winner and it wasn't me shoved out off the edge of the track
Novice group on a Ducati day tends to be people who don't routinely go on track days, classic bike riders who aren't looking for a thrash and "run what you brung" who need to ride their bike home. Like ordinary track days you get people in the wrong groups with the odd track warrior who needs to overtake so will book novice or inter when they are inter or fast. My first Ducati day 3 years ago was horrendous so gave the next year a miss. I did Silverstone last year and it was a lot better so had a hoot. The only down side is each group can have 80 to 90 riders but Silverstone is huge and you can find your own space but be prepared to be overtaken. Andy
Just booked two days. I was told that Silverstone will def be allowed with Akras but not sure of Donnington, fingers crossed.

Wasn't the case last year, CSS happy for me to run my 853 special in inters. If any doubt, talk to Wendy for a definitive answer. Andy
Their maybe a novice rider new to track days with a track bike, so they don't trash there pride and joys.
I am not going to book either day this year, so the rest of you are guaranteed perfect weather. Warm and sunny...
Yes of course, but I didn't turn up on a race bike, I went to school to learn from professionals. I did levels 1-3 at CSS last year to try and improve further.
Tune that was race bikes, so if you pitched up with an ACU license they weren't too happy with anything other than fast on a track bike. And the 899 fellas that were allowed
