that includes geordies, makems , sand dancers , monkey hangers etc . not that the saft suvverners are any better.
Agreed. Regardless what some people think, we are still highly regarded world wide and whether countries within the EU like it or not we're probably only one of 3 or 4 that can pull this off. It's not arrogance, it's just the way it is. The UK unfortunately has a lot of cowards at the moment, it's nothing to do with them genuinely believing in the EU project, they're just scared witless and are prepared to bend over. The country needs backbone
Donald Trump says UK 'doing great' after Brexit vote - BBC News Speaking about a potential US-UK trade deal, he said: "We're gonna work very hard to get it done quickly and done properly. Good for both sides."
As a billionaire with business interests in the UK, probably more than most and definitely more than you.
Nothing. His own companies have filed for bankruptcy more than a few times. Effectively making money by not paying the debts he had racked up and conning his staff out of their retirement savings. Thing is... whichever way you want it and moan.. Donald Trump is going to be the US president (in the next few weeks) and the UK is going to be leaving the EU (although when is not known as yet). Its gonna happen whether you like it or not, so just accept it and get on with it, If it had gone the other way on both counts, the ones who've lost would have to do the same. Never before have I known people moan and cry because they haven't got their own way.
Clearly not as much as all the expert economists from IMF to B of E. Trump stating that Brexit is going great, does unsettle me a bit....
looking forward to a new TTIP anyone? not including the gazillion jobs he promised to the N/E which proved to be bolox before the offshore turbine issue. which he contested and lost, over and over again.
I was going to answer that, be didn't as it's full of holes. An article 11 action is very different to bankruptcy in the UK and Trump's involvement in it isn't as damning as you would portray. But the most worrying thing is that you've quoted the duke to get you out of a hole. Not a good start to the week Terry, up your game.
"Trump stating that Brexit is going great, does unsettle me a bit...." I agree with Trump. It is going great, only the disappointed are painting a bleak picture of it Short term pain will lead to long term gain.
Unfortunately we have to get on with trump as US pres , hi is still a multi bankrupt ,, Leaving the EU , are you sure about that ?
