British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. tbh , i doubt it.:Banghead:

  2. Ah, this old chestnut. So the 3.8 million people that voted UKIP and got 1 MP, seems like they got a raw deal compared to the 1.4m that voted SNP and got 56 MPs. I'm sure you'll agree based on your statement.

Both great adverts for the UK & the USA adopting proportional representation.

  3. So that's half of the USA then? You cry the same tune against the 52% of the UK that voted for Brexit.

Calling people racist or simple just proves you are wrong. Put forward a reasoned, logical argument.

  4. who / when did call a racist ?

  5. btw,, i dont think it was half of the US,, from what i remember he got less than half of the votes cast in the lowest turn out in their history.. iirc about 25% of US .

  6. Ah, talking percentages, the sure sign a argument is lost. So winning the popular vote is hardly a popular vote if only 25% voted for it. :Bucktooth:

  7. It's a general comment on the slandering of all Brexit supporters or Trump voters. That's one of them that is thrown about along with many others by the losing side. I haven't looked through your previous posts to see if you have said that. If you haven't, I apologise.
    • Trump wants to deport ILLEGAL immigrants - Racist
    • Trump want to build a wall - Racist
    • Brexit supporters want to CONTROL immigration - Racist
    • Brexit supporters voted to leave the EU - Simpletons
    • Brexit supporters want the supremacy of UK law over EU law - Simpletons
    • et al.

  9. Wait till it's "awesome!"

  10. It does seem to be the curse of the modern snowflake

We've seen it with the independence referendum, the general election, the Brexit vote, the American election.

All sides say they respect democracy and respect the final democratic vote. All sides willingly take part in those same elections and yet when they lose, they bitch and squeal like spoilt kids that democracy has failed.

give it a rest man. or just keep giving me copy and paste examples i can use later.
    your choice.

  13. An interview of Trump by Gove has zero validity. It's like Goeebels interviewing in Hitler.

  14. Silly finm.

Being lied to by politicians is part of the democratic process. Believing the lies though would appear to just be a thing practised by a majority of Scotchfolk (ie a small number of people).

Rubbish at it. Elise is right again/still :Angelic:

  15. Silly me, I forget U.K. democracy is only allowed in Scotland and the snp's version. Fin it would be refreshing it you didn't have to fart to remind yourself of what you had to eat last night.

  16. exactly loz, certain purdah and finance rules where broken to. but hayho
noob noob noob, there you go again. determined to display yer ignorance in vote you didn't have, on a process you don't understand, undertaken for reasons you cant comprehend. your a right wing apologist.
watching your posts over the last month or so i am genuinely surprised you haven't been on here before to explain that camoron was only checking that it was cooked properly when he fucked yon poor pig, seeing as its standard practice round your parts. ffs man
good day to you kind sir.

  19. fin i am here to educate and assist as part of my care in the community project so I will help you.

When you enter into a democratic vote, everyone does so in the hope their side wins and largely up until the votes I mentioned, that seemed to be okay

Now we have people saying I am willingly taking part and if I lose, then I will ignore democracy and insist we keep having votes till I get my own way. That is not democracy, that is self interest snowflakery.

because those types rarely see beyond their nose, they do not see the standard they are setting, again let me help you

Lets use the Scottish vote, (as you seem to think the U.K. is all about Scotland you silly thing) The vast majority of those that voted, voted to stay in, salmond himself said that was it, for a generation was his words.

Now lets say they want another crack at the whip because they feel the EU out vote has let them down even though we voted as the U.K. and NOT as regions.

But let's say you have another independence vote and you have a yes by a few percentage. That would mean the score would be one all 1-1.

Using YOUR own standard, those who said we want to stay in the U.K. SHOULD be allowed to use YOUR standard of "I don't like this vote so we need to vote again" You wouldn't be able to deny them that as it is the standard you used yourself. Add to that they could say one all, so lets have a third vote as a decider.

Lets then say the third vote has stay within the U.K. as the deciding vote. Now if you are honest you know the snp and it's sheep will ask for a fourth vote and a fifth and a sixth until it gets it's way.

All of this whilst at the same time saying we have to leave the U.K. WITHOUT even knowing what the details of the 2 year agreement and then an additional few years to see even if it works.

This highlights the wish for the snp is NOT what is best for Scotland and its people but more the blinkered view of lets leave the U.K. and sort everything out later

    I hope that helps

  20. I have to admit, even though it's you, that did make me laugh. :) I'm not refering to your spelling of Goebbels either.

As far as zero validity goes. For the last 7 months, you've been quoting some dubious sources on 10 % of your posts and making up the other 90%. :Hilarious:
