The Last Ducati I Had Was A Darmah.....

  1. Now I'm circling back with a Diavel project bike. (broken crank). Also, I'm on the other side of the pond, and a pensioner in Florida. I'd interested in hearing from anyone that has had a 1200 apart for any words of wisdom.

  4. Welcome and good luck with project, major motor surgery! Lots of top techs on here.
    Might be cheaper to get a s/h engine or bottom end tho.

  8. Found a 1200 Monster motor ($1100), and I'll pull the crank from it. S/h motors are running $2800, and a new crank about $3000. Since my time is very "cheap".....

    I used to live a couple of hours from you in St Augustine.
    Spent many happy hours at Silver Springs.
    Used to shoot at Palm Coast and New Smyrna ranges, really miss it.
