No. I had a disastrous service which cost a fortune and then he fecked up the valve clearances and left it with squeaky, poorly seated valves. There weren't many Ducati dealers around back then and servicing was a nightmare. I decided to cut my losses and get rid. Maybe the bike was cursed because I sold it to a cash buyer from Somerset and a few weeks later someone was killed on it in a particularly brutal crash. The police phoned me up asking if I could confirm the name and give a description of the person I'd sold it to because they were struggling to identify the deceased and work out who had actually been at the controls. It sounded like it was being ridden two-up and the rider who died was unlicensed and there was some covering up going on. Its an odd feeling to know that someone has been killed on the bike that used to be yours..
