Had the shits and been feeling sick all day....feeling really sorry for myself at the moment as I love food :Vomit::Grumpy:ead:octor:
I got chatted up by 2 Thai girls yesterday on holiday in Bangkok. They said " would you like us 2 for the night - it will be like winning the lottery?" They were right - we had 6 matching balls
Spent the day taking my first step to replacing the crank (broken) in my Diavel. I took apart a 2014 Monster motor to get the replacement crank. No special tools to get it this far apart, but now need the special socket for the crankshaft primary gear. And yes I will need more tools to get it back together correctly.
It's a been a very busy weekend of nights on obstretrics... I feel like I could sleep for 3 days straight.
So what was the cause of the broken crank and how many miles? Here's my multi's. Didn't even make second major service! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
2010 and flaw in casting was what they put mine down to. That was an independent assessor as Ducati have never had a crank go wrong and had no interest Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I went to a psychic today, and she told me someone was going to swindle me out of some money. Best forty quid I've ever spent.
Spent most of the day snowboarding around Morzine and Les Get. It was nice and sunny. Trouble is there's no more snow forecast for the rest of the week so if it stays sunny and relatively warm then it's gonna be desperate by the end of the week.
There were lots of things I should have done today but I decided to start getting the 1098R track ready. Lots of cleaning, polishing and playing with bubble wrap before the bodywork gets put into safe storage. Headlight and bucket next and a trip to Maplins to get blanking plugs for the loom. Once I get my trailer back with new wheel bearings, the bike is off to get the track bodywork fitted, the traction control unit mounted properly and my new Ohlins TTX MkII fitted and set up. Time for a cup of coffee and a sit down now. Andy
All this before your retired! Your gonna be bored with all that extra time on your hands if you can do this whilst your working....
Need to get the 1098R sorted first so I can start stripping the 853 to release the frame, airbox and forks so I can rebuild the 748R. Having already sourced replacement parts, I have then got to put the 853 back together. Carole and I are touring Wales for 4 days in March, Exmore for 4 days end of April/early May, 3 days open pit lane at Almeria middle May, Barcelona for the Catalan MotoGP 2nd weekend in June, Silverstone at the end of June, Silverstone again at the end of August for the GB MotoGP, 3 days open pit lane at Cartagena in October and we want to get a couple of days at Brands and a couple of days at Mallery to sqeeze in that have yet to be planned. Time on my hands is the last thing I'm going to have . Andy
