ok ok, you 'need' retirement, i get it! if you've planned/prepared to share, be interested to hear of your approx planned routes for Exmoor and Wales, both are 'not too far' from me, so always interested on others choice of routes.
I'm not the organiser for either but I'll see if I can copy the routes. Went on similar trips last year and had great fun. 9 of us in Exmoor and nearly 90 of us in Wales (3 groups). Andy
Yes. It had its good points and it had its not so good points but on the whole I enjoyed it and hope to get on the run again this March. Andy
Yesterday was a bluebird day. Fantastic! I spent all day around Avoriaz with my pal Colin as he's not skied for 20 years so that he could get more confidence and improve his technique. The others in our group headed off to Morgins in Switzerland. Today the plan is to go to Mont Cherry. And the sun is supposed to be shining again today
Today a friend of mine called to let me know he recently formed an Elbow tribute band. They've named themselves Arse and I honestly can't tell the difference.
When I was a kid, my parents would always say "Excuse my French" just after a swear word. I'll never forget that first day at school when my teacher asked if any of us knew any French?
I had a central heating engineer round today and while he was working away he said, "I see you’re a darts man, like myself." I asked how he worked that out and he replied, "That photo on the fireplace of you and Jocky Wilson.” "That’s my wife mate."
Went to the Podiatrist. I can thouroughly recommend it to anybody. It feels like they have fitted soft babies feet on the ends of my legs now.
Even my mother wouldn't get too close to my feet. If I'm off out in the evening with friends I'll of put clean socks on at least twice in the day but more likely 3 times. My trainers always have plenty of life in the sole, it's just that they go rotten from the inside. I think I'll give podiatry a miss to save my embarassment and the Podiatrist's stomach contents. Andy
The Podiatrist loves playing with my feet :Wideyed: It wouldn't be for me. But i love the effects of her work.
Try riding there next time and unveil the feet from a pair of sweaty Sidi boots or something. She'll soon change her mind! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Don't know what it's been like where you are but it's brass monkey cold here so spent most of the day cleaning and polishing bodywork in my lounge. Remembered that I bought a Fullsix carbon dash so fitted it as the bike is naked and started to look out track specific bits starting with the traction control unit. Andy
I know, but you wimmin are weird. :Wideyed: Every one of you I know loves squeezing spots. What is that all about? :Jawdrop:
I've been over to Mont Chery this morning. The snow was rubbish, so we came back over to Les Get and Morzine and did some pretty gnarly riding. I'm now laid in bed and can't move as my legs are stiffer than John Holmes ever was in his prime!
My Wife gave birth to a daughter this morning. So I texted her sister to let her know. "Congratulations - you're an aunt" I wrote. "OMG" She replied. "Weight? Sex?" "7lb 3oz. - Yeah OK- how about friday evening ? Bring wine."
