Hello all.....I've been reading up on some of the threads for bike builds here and thought it would be a good idea to join in the fun. My name is Kev, PITCREW comes from the times I have helped mates out at bike racing (mainly pit lane mechanicals etc). I'm at the young age of 63 and have retired from my day job as a support engineer in the Pharmaceutical industry. Having been into biking from the age of 16, I have now managed to get myself a small workshop where I now spend many a day stripping and modifying different bikes into something I like the look of. I've now stopped buying bikes as running out of space....you know how it goes!! So I have plenty of bikes to work on. I've bought myself an ST2 frame and engine, ST4 rear end with linkage/suspension etc, 999 tank, 849 wheels, so I'm looking to build a special with it, having seen quite a few I like with the trellis look. Just finished building a 2008 900ss ie cafe racer which I'll post a few pics of. Chat soon :coldsweat:
Well you did ask? These are bikes I have built and some I bought for investment. Many others but no handy pics yet.
