?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  4. I'm genuinely not taking the piss here.

Is this still your opinion? You were posting for a long time that we would not leave. It now looks a done deal. I'd be interested to hear why you think this happened given your stance for such a long time.

  5. But they'll be free of Westminster @Gimlet , that's all that matters to some in Scotland. They aren't bothered who rules Scotland, as long as it's not Westminster. They would gladly run into the arms of Brussels like a 2 year old that hasn't seen it's mommy for a month.

  6. its all good. i ask you cos i know yer just about the humor and can handle it.
it was my way of illustrating a point, farage is still stirring up pish at Brussels to provide ammo for the other isolationist partys in there. if Guys is right, for the EU to survive they will probably have to vilify trump and farage more, and we will be guilty by association. it wasn't that long ago when all of Europe was occupied by a country governed by a fascist, i dont think it would be a hard sell.
would you buy from that man or anything he promotes? i wouldn't.

  7. What's he selling?
I want out and he isn't a factor in my decision in any way shape or form :)

  8. The key word there is SOME...

  9. Of course. Most are happy as part of the UK as shown by the independence referendum result.

The "Some" I was refering to are The SNP. :upyeah:

  10. i wasn't talking about you in particular. just a wee example on how these things work, if the uk is a nation of SME's and farage is walking about slagging of the EU institutions in his particular style, i fail to see how slagging off a potential customer or in these days of uncertainty friends or allies with pretty much on the whole similar values. can be seen as taking back control.

  11. Hmmm, so how to you think Helmet Head and Porky Chops would have faired in the event on independence (now highly unlikely), having to negotiate with the rest of the UK having done nothing but slag them off for years? Would they have taken back control?

  12. There are people in the EU over in Brussels just as bad as him - and probably more for their own personal gain and selfish reasons - swings and round-a-boots :)

  13. absolutely. its the way of the world. its how people work. just look at westminster, everywhere., while i dont doubt the majority of our elected politicians are genuinely trying to do a job, confidence is gone because of the few.
up here, the BBC current affairs and news viewing figures are plummeting, license fee collection is dropping, MSM sales are crashing, supermarkets that indulged in project fear are being boycotted. if the usual suspects on here sold belts no matter how cheep they where, i wouldn't buy them.
let me give you another example, i spend thousands a year with a specialist motor factor in Bradford, why? because i like their style, i dont have to. plenty up here. if i ever seen an association they keep that i don't like. their gone.
despite what i think is being pushed, i am sure the EU is more popular in Europe than what is said. if i lived over there, and based on what i have seen reported about us in the uk in their media, i would be more inclined to keep the uk at arms length.

  15. It's that one way only thinking that has you supporting the snp fin. If anything he is helping the EU now. The EU has three major elections coming up with the French, German and the Dutch with smaller ones as well. He continually points out that the way the EU is run caused Brexit, giving them a chance to realise their mistake that led to Brexit and make it better for the rest of the EU if they take it on the chin they need to change.

Britain is not offering a hostile separation, far from it but Nige is reminding them how it happened and it is upto them if they make the same mistake twice or more.

  18. Diane Abbott is the one to watch. "Oooo I have a Migrane I can't possibly vote"

She can sense the Jeremy boat is sinking finally and I suspect she is already planning her campaign to be his replacement.

Also lib dems, they have 9 mp's but only 7 voted against and the other 2 abstained

  19. Sorry @finm, I have been busy today working and helping to keep Scotchland safe :D
