Lovely I worked for Ford and always wanted a tickford My first boyfriend had two capris Red mk1 and an orange mk2
3 of us toured Europe in a 3 litre Capri back in the day, great crack it was, if a little cramped in the back. Shame there aren't more of them left on the road. A true classic.
Don't understand the appeal of old Fords. Really like those. But it's not dog friendly. Or bike friendly. So not for me at the moment. My Range Rover gets fuckingunbeliveablempg too! Still can't bring myself to sell the old S4 tho. I need to get all the little scratches and dings sorted out before I sell it, but then I'm not sure I'll be able to part with it
Mondeo ST TDCI, work horse, did 200 miles yesterday no problem and you can just see my 308 Peugeot in the back ground 1.2 3 cylinder turbo 130bhp. The wife is taking that in the divorce
My favourite car was my Astra GTE Mk1, a great car to drive with a strong engine but I think it must have been driven in the sea in a previous life! Recently had a remapped BMW 123d which was also a great car, went like stink and would return 45mpg all day long, but seeing as my stable daily is now a Ford Transit I barely used the BM and the Mrs 300SLK drank petrol like a fish, couldn’t justify another diesel with the mileage we do so we chopped both the cars in for a BMW 420i
