Been "thinking" about it for ages but the way things are going lately that's all I will be doing for the foreseeable. Good luck to those who can manage it sooner rather than later.

cheers Boss, the girls did spoil me. saturday should be a nice meal, last time i was there i had severn Eel, devon snails, somerset duck and gloucester trout - not all on the same plate obviously. hows you- drinking tea, admiring the fleet and planning which bike to take on which route on that cheeky march ride - you know the one, sunny but still a bit chilly, but to nice day to resist?
Home fro hove, over 5 hrs due to M23 closure, M4 account and having to hit Oxford ring road at 1700 But happy to be home
Good you are being looked after.Sounds like a veritable feast you have lined up,where are you off to? I had almost decided yesterday to sell all my bikes, things were not good. However today I was talking to Mrs Mervyn and she said that there were more bikes I hadn't tried, like Yamaha,Kawasaki, and I should try some more bikes.A letter arrived from Ducati about my Scrambler recall, and I was told that if I took it in to the dealer they would probably flog me another red motorbike.I am feeling a little more cheerful this evening and have set myself some targets for this year. I shall be looking this year for something more outrageous, more powerful, more totally inappropriate. If I can't ride it I will sit on it in the garage and do the Brm Brm thing. Have a great time with you outing on Sat.
I had a good meeting yesterday about a very prestigious project we hopefully be awarded. We've already got the order for the design work and all the bureaucratic stuff is allegedly happening at the moment for the main works and scope of supply. And providing everyone's happy with the contractual timescales then we should get the go-ahead by the end of next week. If this happens it should be a real game changer for British snowsports and will attract overseas federations who are already looking at this project with interest and envy
Just been reading an interesting article on Hindu customs:- For centuries, Hindu women have worn a Dot on their foreheads. Most of us have naively thought this was connected with marriage or religion, but the Indian High Commission in London has recently revealed the true story. When a Hindu woman gets married, she brings a dowry into the union. On her wedding night, the husband scratches off the Dot to see whether he has won any of the following :- A - Taxi licence in Slough B - Convenience store in Southall C- Service station in Bradford D- Kebab shop in Bristol E- Take away cafe in Cardiff. If there is nothing there, he must stay in India and take a job answering telephones giving technical advice to BT customers in the UK.
