Today I have mostly been in meetings or on conference calls. Apart from going to lunch with SWMBO and her mum and brother who had come to visit for the day from Derbyshire. We went for lunch to a place local to us called The Carding Shed which is a classic vehicles museum/cafe. They have a few bikes on show too including a 999R, an old Norton and a velocette. Ended up watching a cooking prog on TV (almost inevitable on a Saturday morning) which turned out to be well worth it. One half of the Hairy Bikers travelled around Egypt on a multi Strada. Moved me to make some crisps (no additives!)
Up with the larks and took the better half to Hospital for an op on her foot. Came home and into the garage and made cam locks for the 1098 didn't start the belts cos I was waiting for a call from the Hospital.
Took the Classic in for its recall to Ducati Manchester. Had a bit of an issue when I decided to check the tyre pressures first though. When i took the dust cap off the front tyre the air just pissed out so I pumped it back up, put the dust cap back on and rode the 37 miles to Sale so they could sort it out. And they did. Great service once again from Mark! Met @Sambighair and had coffee and a doughnut that another customer (thanks Glen) had brought in Then rode home the long way round. This afternoon I watched the new Jason Bourne film and now I'm watching Middlesbrough getting spanked by Spurs. After the match I'm taking two birds out for a curry
