  2. Oh how I love the Guardian

Pro EU, Pro globalisation, and yet anti low wages?

let's just ponder that for a minute shall we

Men earn £12,500 less in 20s than generation before, research shows | Money | The Guardian

But it's ok, one of the super intelligent and far superior readers has nailed the real cause in the comments section, yes it's down to 35 years of Tory policy

Of course, why didn't I realise that the Tories have been in power for 35 years, damn my stupid mind......

  3. Oh and how could I forget this beautifully written piece here

The Guardian view on parliament and Brexit: MPs fail their first test | Editorial | Opinion | The Guardian

Previously moaned democracy was absent even after a majority vote in the referendum.

In walks Gina Miller to force the decision back through parliament, cheers erupted through the Guardian office corridors, finally democracy (round 2)

And yet today democracy is apparently shit again?

    Go figure

What a bunch of moaning, couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag, spineless, finger pointing, idealistic, arrogant........wankers.

  5. they where called red torys for a reason. sorry red mofo torys. :Hilarious:. thing is, should we even be calling torys torys nowadays? more kipper than tory surely?

  6. Guardian generally has been moaning about the lack of democracy when in truth what they have always meant is their version of it.

As to the SNP signing the eu anthem, I'd have complained too. You can hardly understand what they say let alone sing.

  7. Beethoven will be spinning in his grave at the way his work has been stolen and bastardised to promote a bureaucratic dictatorship and a make-believe empire.
Its an abuse of music the way "Arbeit macht frei" in its most famous context was an abuse of language.

  8. There's an air of prophesy in the second verse. So appropriate they sing and whistle whilst others smile.

Who has succeeded in the great attempt,
To be a friend's friend, [who indeed]
Whoever has won a lovely woman,
    Add his to the jubilation!
Indeed, who calls even one soul
    Theirs upon this world!
And whoever never managed, shall steal himself
    Weeping away from this union.

  9. Treachers be treacherous.

    Betrayers be betrayin'.

    Still ... whistle a happy tune :)

  10. Not quite a gut wrenching as the one from 18th March 2003 when he used the mother of parliaments to deceive the nation. Looking back you ask what Hoon was thinking?

  13. With the odd fanny liberal joining in :upyeah:

  14. "Separatists"?

Nonsense, they are every bit as British as the next man.
It'd be like trying to differentiate the hops and barley from the beer.
One big happy country, soon to be free from the one big unhappy mess of an experimental superstate :upyeah:

  17. Asking the snp to be honest is like a woman asking a man does my bum look big in this

The SNP want the U.K's democratic vote to mean nothing whilst in their own manifesto they publish this

    Our Vision

    Our Vision
The SNP is committed to making Scotland the nation we know it can be. Our vision is of a prosperous country where everyone gets the chance to fulfil their potential. We want a fair society where no-one is left behind. And our vision is of Scotland as an independent country - equal to the very best.

Looks rather similar to something the country just voted on doesn't it?

Would this make them little Scotlanders?

  18. What if some of the Little Scotchlanders have no potential whatsoever? They'll have to be left behind, won't they?

    Usual SNP doublespeak. Ignore.
