Total Virgin!!

  1. Hello all, I'm a total newly as far as ducatis go! I've had everything but a Ducati so I'm thinking now is the time. My mate has just got a 748r which is stunning and has made me think about getting one! I'm thinking either a 748 or a 996. If I can get any pointers on spec, what to watch out for that'd be great.

    The 996 is very torque laden and easier to drift around on. The 748 needs thrashing. Both handle great of set up. Both need good maintenance. Both will have people smiling :upyeah:

  5. Cheers mate, I'm thinking upto £5200. I was looking at a 996 which has had a few quid spent on it but unfortunately it's a cat d! It's up for £4600
