British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. What absolute trash , little more is required to ferment a nationalist spirit ( let alone hatred of the English ) than that type of little England attitude . the SNP will survive because the people of Scotland want and voted overwhelmingly for them and what they stand for .

  2. I always chuckle when I see little Englander coming from some Scots.

Scotland's population including the Norwegian isles  5.3 million
    England's population, 53 million

So when the U.K. votes as whole to leave Europe then the snpites say it's the little Englander's who have done this

But when 1.6 million Scots (in a nation of 5.3 million) vote to leave their partnered country then it's called "We cannot be denied out freeeeeedom"

It seems the more likely you are to be a snp supporter the more likely you are shit at maths.

  3. you liked that loz? i would be interested in knowing why? because that pile o pish is the definition of the
    "little englader".
    are you a "little englander"?

  4. Just how misplaced is your reasoning , the " little " is not a mathematical reflection on the demographic make up of your country in relation to ours , nor is it reflection on the certain physical anatomy of your race , but more a reflection on the mentality of a fairly large proportion of the race , unfortunately only too often exposed on this forum

  5. I'm the very definition of a Little Englander, finm! As long as you disregard where I was born, where I live and, oh, my life experiences and personal beliefs.

    But do, crack on :)

I liked Lightning's post because he correctly identified the current mood in Scotchland regarding Independence (Independence - but hopefully still in the EU? You have any other interesting definitions for commonly understood words? :Hilarious: )

He also correctly indicated that SNP politicians are no different from any other politicians, in terms of greed, rapaciousness, lust for power, mendacity and all-round lack of fitness-for-purpose.

There was a lot to like in that post ... thanks for highlighting it :upyeah:

  12. Ahhh I get ya, when 17 million Englanders vote to leave the eu then it's a mentality but when 1.6 scots want to leave the U.K. then it's freedom

Aha, I get ya, yeah I see the drift your sliding on.

  15. I may well be drifting but unlike your good self I have not ( yet ) fallen off the slippery pole , alas the " little englander " has been around for much longer than that storm in the tea cup which is brexit , I dare say almost as long as the independence movement has been in Scotland .

  18. That's like comparing an English team and a Scottish team for the world cup. One gets on with it and gets one

The other still after ages and not getting one, still hasn't had the penny drop yet
