For Sale Multistrada 1200s Dvt Touring 2016 ( Mint )

Discussion in 'Ducati Bikes For Sale' started by rob lewis, Feb 17, 2017.

  1. Due to a change in family circumstances I don't think I will get much opportunity to ride this stunning machine much this year......It breaks my heart but I'd like my ' baby ' to go to someone on this brilliant forum, rather than me watch her stand there every time i go into the garage.

I am being honest here....I am in no rush to sell ( don't really want to let her go )....bike is kept under a stretch cover on a rubber backed bike mat, in a dehumidified garage and on Optimate battery tender.

I am reaching out to see if there is any honest interest....

She is a 2016 with just over 2000 dry miles on her. Warranty until 2018. Ducati Touratech seat fittted as well as Navihalter and brand new TomTom 400 ( hard wired into bike )...Optimate lead also fitted which feeds out near the left rear foot rest.

This bike is in exceptional, absolutely stunning condition....Obviously I have all documentation, keys etc, full Ducati service etc etc

No finance as I paid cash for her last year.

I'm a Master Detailer and take enormous pride in my profession....she has been machine polished and ceramic coated as well as the wheels having been glass coated......she looks simply stunning.

I will consider SERIOUS offers only and will not reply to anyone whom insults me with lowball offers.

So gentlemen ( and ladies ) please PM me directly if you are genuinely interested.

I haven't thought about another bike but I MAY be tempted in something else as part ex and cash.....but it would have to be up to my exacting standards ..lol....But like I mentioned earlier.... I honestly don't think I will get the opportunity to ride this year....

Oh and before I forget...under NO circumstances test rides....not even with your money in my hand...Please feel free to go to a dealer to test, but sorry not mine folks....this is my cherished baby that I'm absolutely gutted at having to let her go....hope eveyone understands what I'm trying to convey here...Thank you!!

  7. Generally speaking I'd say you might get more response with an indication of what your looking for as opposed to guesswork.

  8. This has got to be the strangest for sale advert ever

  9. I beg to differ....if someone wants it they will offer the right money.....we are all well educated Ducatists, and all know how much this Multi costs

  10. why?

  11. It's the only advert I've seen where the seller won't say how much they want. I could understand if it was something rare and exotic

  12. Entirely up to you boss. I was just voicing my personal reaction in reading the advert with the intent of offering a helpful opinion. Hope you achieve what you want for it -it does look a nice machine-you've done An excellent job in the detail.

You never know if lesser educated bikers as guests on the site might be browsing but don't have the knowledge to second guess the price and hence a potential sale lost. Options either way and its your choice entirely , still perplexed about why hide the price though.

  20. Interesting post. Multi with no top box, no tank top bag, no crash bungs, no spotlights, no carbon fibre, no fancy exhaust. Yet seller asks top dollar. Good luck with that.
