PARIS RIOTS MAPPED: Violence spreads to 20 areas ACROSS FRANCE THE ongoing trouble in Paris which has led to riots in some parts of the capital is spreading across France as vigilantes stage running battles with police in protest of the rape of a young black man. I'm pretty sure most brexiteers would have voted remain had the eu stayed true to the original design of nothing more than a trading group of countries who could afford membership instead of the united states of europe.
Agreed, it makes trading very easy. But it's morphed into something very different and the plus side is far outweighed by the negatives. It's a sclerotic protectionist bloc now, on an ever downward spiral into further expansionism and federalism destined to end in failure.
They all lie when it suits them and they can feel a bit of an ego trip coming on. Look at the dodgy past of our current incumbent. Promoting policies she doesn't believe in.
Why is that a surprise duke? she said herself she was a remainer, she has made no secret of that. She has also said the vote didn't go her way but the vote was the vote and it is now her job to make sure the peoples vote is respected and worked on to get the best deal
Have to agree and I really don't get this ridiculous notion of hate from remain voters against TM. You should see the guardian crowd foam at the mouth whilst slating her Facts are she didn't call the referendum, she's not actively said she wanted to leave prior to the result. It's just that the fella who ran off (DC) left the ruling party without a leader and she got the job. And wouldn't you know she's doing a job that a majority vote asked the government to do, they didn't ask her, but she's in charge and doing a part of her job. I actually quite like her because she doesn't sugar coat much, she is what she is and that's a damn site better than any of the major name 'anti Brexit' lot - Tony Blair? Tim Farron? Nick Clegg? Ken Clarke? Jesus wept, the list goes on and on, none of them are fit for running a country, Brexit or not
And here's another shining example of Anti UK rhetoric from a UK media outlet Germany overtakes UK to become fastest-growing G7 economy in 2016 - business live | Business | The Guardian Celebration of Germany marginally out growing the UK by 0.1% in 2016 and they're doing Mexican fucking waves What a bunch of moaning hypocritical wankers honestly. Just look at the tone - " That beats Britain, which only grew by 1.8% over the same period" Only? ONLY? Only grew by 1.8%, yet 1.9% is amazing because Germany did it? Get a fucking grip. Also let's see how Germany did that, they spent tax payers money on building houses for the mass immigrants let in to the country "German government spending drove the economy, rising by 0.8% in the last quarter. That’s partly the cost of housing and integrating refugees from have arrived in the country over the last couple of years." So that's ok is it? It's ok not paying your way in Nato? it's ok for Merkel opening the floodgates to huge droves of encouraged migrants risking life across the med on a dingy with kids floating face down in the water? That's ok? Just as long as the German government beat the UK in growth? Double standard intellectuals eh? Photograph: Matthias Schrader/AP It’s official: Germany was the fastest growing major economy last year. Germany has wrestled the crown off Britain this morning, with new figures confirming that German GDP rose by 1.9% in 2016. That beats Britain, which only grew by 1.8% over the same period (as we learned yesterday), and means Westminster politicians won’t be able to crow about beating the rest of the G7 last year. It also means Germany outpaced the US (which expanded by 1.6% last year, according to preliminary data). In the final three months of the year, Germany grew by 0.4% - recovering from a slowdown to just +0.1% in July-September. German government spending drove the economy, rising by 0.8% in the last quarter. That’s partly the cost of housing and integrating refugees from have arrived in the country over the last couple of years. Household spending also boosted growth, rising by 0.3% in the last quarter. ING’s Carsten Brzeski fears that this means the growth isn’t sustainable... Net trade had a negative effect on growth in the last quarter, though - as imports rose by 3.1% while exports increased by 1.8%.
I saw the IMF 2017 forecast today. Almost all the way through through the report, it constantly says the U.K. is on the up. The graph towards the bottom puts it a bit clearer Estimates, and they are just that show 2017/18 GROWTH as Germany 1.5%/1.5%, The euro zone 1.6%/1.6% and the U.K. as 1.5%/1.4% IMF World Economic Outlook (WEO) Update, January 2017: A Shifting Global Economic Landscape So growth rates are pretty similar, the problems with this it doesn't take into effect the elections of France and Germany but bases things on Germany and France remaining as they are now. Forecasts are just that but what you can take from the imf's 2017 is that whilst things are slowing a bit, they still show growth.
It's something she doesn't believe is right for the country but is now saying it is right for the country. Lying scumbag like all the others. She will get her come uppance one day like all the others. Most likely from her own Party who are experts at backstabbing.
No thats not what she's doing mate, not at all. What she's doing is the right thing as per a democratic vote, peoples personal version of right and wrong regards Brexit will differ, but if you want to live in a democracy then thats the way it is. Equally she's not lying about anything, she's simply doing what anybody running a company should be doing and anybody in leadership should be doing, setting an example of leadership, determination and ambition. Everyone faces problems, some more so than others, its all about how you deal with them that counts and id rather a strong leader than somebody who's quick to put their tail between their legs and whimper like a kicked dog.
I'm not sure if I was in her position that I could force through something I didn't believe was right for the Country even if the Country voted for it. For all the stick Cameron had, I would personally have done the same and resigned and left it to someone who did believe in it. She is leaving herself open to criticism from both sides if the shit hits the fan.
There are leaders who clear up others mess's because they have the gumption to do so and there are ex leaders who run from the mess they made. I'd trust the former.
