So what ways have people found to display their taxdisc on an 1198 or similar? Dont want it stuck out in a too obvious place - on my 748s it is behind the front fairing and fits nicely there Any bright ideas / pics as to unobtrusive solutions?
It all depends on which oil, tyres and cleaning products you use... on and is the bike yellow or red?
It also depends on whether you have a south facing garden or not apparently. I think the answer is on here somewhere
Not forgetting which side you dress sir... this becomes a whole new ball game (no pun intended) for the ladies
Ah! I appear to have stumbled on the equivalent of talking to someone at a urinal lol - as a search has revealed Didnt realise it ahd been asked a zillion times! Actually - whilst I am 'doing well' - anyone able to recommend decent oil lol? I guess that, right at this moment, little baby jesus is crying....!
You've done 'very well' Loverobot To answer your first question, I keep my tax disc in a plastic bag under the seat. I know it's not strictly legal but last time I was stopped (for having a small numberplate) plod said 'as long as you can show it to me, under the seat is fine with me'. I doubt all police would see it that way but that's where I keep it.
I agree under the seat is best as they know you have it electronically anyway. I was stopped and questioned about it on my Brutale, I responded that I couldnt find anywhere pleasing to put, it they found it relatively amusing and let me go. Maybe I should try that with my number plate
I would have to unscrew my seat which would be a pain when plod stop me. I could put it under the 'pillion seat' thou
Well I have been thinking about this and there isnt really going to be room under pillion seat as I am firstly trying to carry the below either under or on my seat so need to think again lol
